Any and all comments greatly appreciated....
I want password protected marquee screen saver to run while using Windows Media Player, to prevent someone from accidentally interrupting a pre-programmed playlist. -- I've forgotten most of what I've learned about Macintosh & Windows since 1983.... |

....? A screen saver will hide the player. So... anything should work there. Not sure what information you're looking for... ? -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. I apologize... need to carify ... my operating system is WinXP Pro SP2.
While listening to music using WMP, my screen saver will not function. I went to Control Panel, Display, then set up the marquee screen saver, password protect on resume checked, one minute time delay set, click Apply, click OK. After doing this nothing ever changed. The screen saver never activated. -- I've forgotten most of what I've learned about Macintosh & Windows since 1983.... "zachd [ms]" wrote: > > ....? > A screen saver will hide the player. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Right. Different things entirely. The 'ask for password on resume' setting to my knowledge is completely independent of the screen saver settings. You should just need to check WMP's 'Allow screen saver during playback' button. 'Resume' isn't from a screen saver, it's from an actual system sleep. .... I may be a little confused here, but that's what I'm puzzling out of what you've said. -Zach -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
