Default Slow MP10

Hi

Using XPpro and WMP10, have 2gb ram and 200gb of free disk space.

When using MP, my CPU Usage often hits 100 % and the player is
excruciatingly slow taking over an hour to burn 12 tracks.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Wait... it only does this when you're burning CDs, or it does it at other
points too?

Usually only when burning. When listening to music, other progs can be a
little slow but not like it is when burning. Video/DVD is no problem
either.

What kind of CD burner are you using? Generally, the hardware is to blame for
this kind of problem.

Also, if you know the complete specs of your computer, that would be nice to
know.
