I have a new HP Media Center PC, and used it today to record a DVD. The
video was captured using Windows Movie Maker software, then I also used this program to save the video file to DVD. I am not very "technical," but when I tried to play the DVD in Windows Media Player, the video would play back, but not the sound. The DVD plays fine (video and audio) on HP Media Center, but I don't understand why it doesn't play in WMP. Can anyone give me any advice? |

It sounds like you are not using a DVD decoder that is compatible with WMP- http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#mpeg2 -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
