Have WMP 10 on XPP SP2 box. I tried to change color the way it says:
View>Enhancements>Color Chooser but all I get is a picture is a view of
solid current color with the album name and sometimes a picture of it. At
bottom are the words "color chooser" and if I hit the backwards or forwards
pointers to the left of the words I get the names of other enahncements.
I"ve tried rt. clicking around there and no help. I've reinstalled WMP 10
but no help. Is there a reg subkey with a corresonding value where I can
get this done?

What should it look like normally. I also can't use fader and other
enhancements but have been able to in the past.

The answer is that you have to drag up the bottom of the player to show the
color changing slider which would be shown here:

Somehow the color changer had been hidden.You let the mouse hover over the
bottom of the color in the player when it is in Now Playing Mode. Zach and
his team should have added that to the help and hopefully they will in
Vista's WMP 11.

There are mpg and avi files that will not allow a change to the video
settings by normal methods. Is this something the distributor of the file
controls or is there a way to overcome that?
