Default Network Tab

I am unable to access the Network tab under the Tools/Options menu. All other
tabs are fine. Any suggestions?

Is it greyed out or is it simply not present ? If it's a work
computer, your system admin might have locked that feature out.

A reason to do that might be to make sure you use their "proxy
servers", cacheing servers that get a copy of a media file once and
keep it handy for other members of your organisation who request it in
future. The network tab lets you specify those proxy servers, and I
guess they might want to prevent tampering with that.

Otherwise - do you have an administrator user account on your PC ?

Cheers - Neil

Thanks for the quick response, Neil. It is a home computer running XP on a
wireless network. I am the administrator. When I try to click on the tab, it
won't open up at all. All of the other tabs open fine, just the network tab
doesn't. The issue arose when trying to play sample songs on music download
sites. I can download just fine, but I can't sample the selection beforehand.
This feature used to work prior to upgrading to Media Player10.0. I have even
tried to remove MP 10.0 and it wants to take it back to a previous version.
However, I then get a message indicating that this "go bacK" failed. My guess
is that either WP 10.0 is has corrupted files or perhapsthe firewall
associated with my wirless network is somehow interferring. Any suggestions?
