I have read that 200x200 pixels is about what you want for album art
that you manually put into wmp10...also this is about what it seems to download and put into your directories. In the main now playing window if you veiw album art...it is so dang small. Why wouldnt it be 2 times this size or larger. Why is 200x200 recommended? Any reason? Also is the Album Artist field important? It wants to reorganize my files from Artist - Album Name to Album...with all albums by that particular artist in the artist folder by album name. Really annoying. Is there a reason for this? |

If you have a good scan of the album art then it will be too big for WMP to display - it won't automatically display to fit the screen. > Also is the Album Artist field important? As regards album art size, you *can* go beyond 200x200, as you've probably noticed. However, that's not advised since devices you may copy the files to may not be able to play back files that have headers that are too large... -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
