Default pitch correction

Reading the docs, I saw that the settings.Rate option should allow playback
at different speeds with pitch correction to keep it intelligible. However
this
doesn't seem to be happening, the speed changes but there is no attempt
that I can detect at altering the pitch.
I am playing back a mixture of wav files 8/16 bit, 8/16K, all raw PCM.
Before I get into the hassle of recording my playback output and feeding it
back it some software that can do a FFT on the signal to prove whether it
is correcting or not, can anybody tell me whether this should work with my
selected files and what sort of speed ranges its likely to work over.

TIA

Paul

Default Re: pitch correction

I believe the Rate and all other Enhancements are built on top of the
WMFSDK, so wouldn't work for a DShow file type such as WAV. Try .wma or
..mp3 and those should work.....
