Hi
I have multiple XP user accounts setup on my PC. I would like to be able to share media player playlists between user accounts. Currently, playlists created in one user account are not visible in other user accounts. Anyone able to help me on this ? Thanks |

Put them in a shared location. =) -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. Right. Thanks.
What I've been unable to work out is how to change the playlist to a shared location. Media Player in each user account works completely independently - storing its playlists in its own area. I've been unable to find any settings to change where it reads or stores its playlist directory. Anyone know ? Sounds simple - maybe I'm missing something. Media Player in each user account works completely independently - You should be able to go File -> New playlist, then File -> Save playlist as yadda, and save that to a directory that's not associated with any user profile (eg C:\Playlists for example). Would that work for you ? Cheers - Neil >storing its playlists in its own area. I've been unable to find any settings >to change where it reads or stores its playlist directory.
