Recently lost video in WMP 10, also in Real Player, AOL media player and
version 6.4 WMP. Still have sound but video is just a black screen.

Could I have lost some codec or something that all these players share?

I have tried downloading the free trial of Nvidea's DVD player codec - no
good.

Please help.

I too have this problem. No video file (this includes .avi or webcasts)
plays in either windows media player 10 or real player. Please someone help?

Hey Strat,
I have not solved the problem but I have found that I can play MPEGs by
downloading Quicktime, maybe with more codecs I acn play AVIs, WMVs etc???
