Default mp3 format

i have the windows media player 10, and i was wondering if it is possible to
burn mp3's onto a cdr in the mp3 format. if so how??

Look up burning a data/media disc in Help. Or simply bypass wmp and do
it with the inbuilt (data) CD burning capacity of Windows XP.
