I am getting the same exact problem running Windows XP Pro SP2. It isn't so
much a problem as it is a nuisance. I am going to try reinstalling WMP10, but I doubt that that will be a permanant fix. If you, or anyone else for that matter, happens to discover a fix, please post it. |

Whats probably happening is that the GUI is starting but is off the
screen and you cant see it. When you start WMP normally via its icon does it do the same thing? |

When starting WMP normally (from a shortcut or via the Start Menu), it opens
up as it should. The problem only seems to happen when trying to open a file associated with WMP. |
