Okay...I ripped a bunch of music from CD to "My Music," then right-clicked on
each one to change the file name (when ripped, they were saved as "track 01, track 02," etc). I changed each file name to the artist and title. For example, "Metallica - Fade To Black." However, when I go to "Media Library" in WMP, all the files are still displayed with their original file names (track 01, track 02, etc). Why is this happening? Why does WMP not display the new file names? I am using WMP 9, by the way. Thanks! |

If you clear the TRACK title fields in WMP then they revert to the FILE name (minus the filetype suffix). If not, then make sure that the folders where they are located are monitored by WMP (look in the Options dialog). If they are, try to play them: that should update the file name/path. |
