Default Unable to recognise size of CD

I am using media player 10 with windows XP Home Edition and I am trying to
burn onto a 800MB (90MINS) disk. I have been able to do it in the past but
for some reason now the device is only recognising 800MB disks as 702.82MB.
Can anyone give me some advice on the problem please??? Thanx.

The system CD burner is from IMAPI, not WMP, so nobody here is going to be
able to tell you toooooo much other than: overburning is only very
optionally supported, and there's no tweaks within WMP that would help
address this. If it worked ever, awesome, but if you want overburning
support, it would be advised that you use a commercial program such as Nero
or Roxio.

(speaking for myself and doing this in my free time)
See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
