Default Very basic Windows Media Player 10 question

I am completely lost. I want to use the player to view CNN and Yahoo
streamed video. I can't for the life of me figure out how. I only seem to
get radio options. What am I missing - beyond everything? Please help.

Thank you for responding. I do not get a url - I use a link from the CNN
site. Does it matter that I can get video on my Real One player? Have I
merely downloaded the wrong thing with regards to the Windows Media Player?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give - Kay

So what kind of link from the CNN site? What exact page do you go to and
where do you click? If you're only getting radio options, it sounds like
you're clicking on a radio-only feature.

Hey - thank you for replying.

The CNN web site has a "Watch Video" portion to its front page. When I
select a video to watch, my computer will "load" a video program and will
show a title for the video but that is all I get. No picture and no sound.

Thanks for giving this your time - Kay

The video that I saw looks like it is using Flash in part...
If you're not getting any further details as regards the error... if it's
not possible to get any more specific, it's not really possible to provide
any good / helpful information.

I finally figured it out! You were right - it was the Flash that was holding
me up along with my Norton protection needed to be altered. Thanks for the
tip!
