I have managed to get windows 2003 IIS server to stream content stored on a
windows 2003 streaming server with SAMI file subtitles BUT I can not get this to work on a windows 2000 server. Is this possible? Do mime types for .smi files need to be added? Thanks, Andy |

I'm unaware of any MIME for .smi files, and I'm pretty sure I would know if there was one. So I don't think that is or could be the problem. -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. I send Content-type:video/x-ms-asf for SAMI on Captionkit - I'm sure it's documented somewhere - I found text/plain simply didn't work. Cheers - Neil |

That would be really funny if true. I hope that's not the case - I think I'm the unofficial keeper of that particular MIME type and it'd be a bad plan if I didn't know about that. =) -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. Sorry to be dense , Andy "zachd [ms]" wrote: > > That would be really funny if true.
