Default Can SAMI files work on windows 2000 IIS server

I have managed to get windows 2003 IIS server to stream content stored on a
windows 2003 streaming server with SAMI file subtitles BUT I can not get this
to work on a windows 2000 server.

Is this possible? Do mime types for .smi files need to be added?

Thanks,

Andy

I'm unaware of any MIME for .smi files, and I'm pretty sure I would know if
there was one. So I don't think that is or could be the problem.

I send Content-type:video/x-ms-asf for SAMI on Captionkit - I'm sure
it's documented somewhere - I found text/plain simply didn't work.

That would be really funny if true. I hope that's not the case - I think
I'm the unofficial keeper of that particular MIME type and it'd be a bad
plan if I didn't know about that. =)

No, it's on an Apache/PHP server running on FreeBSD ;-)
