This is really weird. If I rip music using Music Match
Jukebox, successfully, when I import the tracks to Windows Media Player they show up as only a few seconds in length instead of 3,4 or 5 minutes. They play OK but the slider gets to the end in a few seconds and stays there. If I look at the properties of the track file the track duration has been changed to 10,13 or so seconds.I know the duration was correct after ripping .I'm using Windows media player 10.00.00.3802 on XP home.Has anyone any idea why this is happening? |

That should indicate that your ripping tool is writing incorrect Duration values into the file's headers... -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. I found out what's happening but I still don't know why. The track times are
changing after volume levelling in Music Match ,if I do that before importing to Windows Media player. If I do it after it doesn't happen.
