It's maddening! If I exit Windows Media Player 10, it
disappears from the Task Bar, Windows Task Manager says it isn't
running, but it just merrily keeps playing. If I was watching a clip,
the audio continues (restarting the clip when it finishes), if I was
playing a playlist, the playlist continues, one song after another.
The only way to stop it is to restart Media Player, hit STOP, then
exit again.
It never did this before....

Any ideas?

This means that your audio card driver is probably locking up.
