Hi,
I have the NVidia DVD Decoder and Elecard DVD Decoder installed on my system. I need the Elecard decoder because NVidia doesn't handle HDTV properly in WIndows Media Encoder. After installing Elecard, I can no longer watch DVDs in WMP10 or the MCE interface. NVidia is check as preferred, but it is not being used (it's icon doesn't appear in the icon tray like it should when it is being used). Any advice? THANKS! John |

I believe Elecard is one of the very few DVD decoders that doesn't pay attention to the DecCheck settings. I don't believe you can use it in conjunction with any other decoder... -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
