When I would download music, if the appropriate TAG info was available, WMP
would physically move that music file into the artist and album folder in My Music. Now for some reason it is not doing this anymore. The music files have all the tag info downloaded by WMP from the internet, but the music files are remaining in the My Music root folder. Any ideas? |

Is this a second time through, as regards renaming/moving the files? -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. Thanks but after hours of not sleeping lastnight i figured out the issue. I
had to navigate to %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player and delete the database and then search for new files in My Music to recreate the database. After this, I added new songs in WMP library and WMP automatically downloaded the correct tag info and moved them into the appropriate folder.
