How do I disassociate a file type from media player. I listen to an internet
station that broadcasts an AAC+ file, which media player doesn't even list (support) yet it always comes on saying there is a missing codec. In control panel/folder options/ file types Winamp is listed as the player. In Winamp preferences AAC+ is also listed. Media player doesn't even have that file type in the list of supported files. Why does it come on and how do I change that??? Help David |

I got it. It's actually an m3u file which in Media player is under mp3
files. So I chose winamp for m3u and AAC+ files in folder options and unchecked mp3 files in media player preferences, although it is still the default player in folder options. Now mp3 files play in Media Player and AAC+/m3u files play in Winamp. Exactly what I want! "giddne" wrote: > How do I disassociate a file type from media player.
