I put the disc in but it says "there is no disc in the drive" I put it
in again and still nothing happens. the audio I want to put on the cd is only 60 min. and the cd-r has 80 min. worth of time. Another anoying thing is it only lets me burn high mat cds and data cds but they take 21 min to burn Plus it says at the end I cant burn it for some reason. All I want to do is make an audio cd. The default burner is a toy burner. If you want high quality burning, you will need to use a more professional burner such as Roxio, Nero, or JetAudio. http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#xpcdburn has the various trouble-shooting options here, but there's not a lot of tweaking/adjustment you can do with the system burner WMP uses. -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. I just got new CD's but it still dosent work! It says the disc cant be
burned and it might be dirty despite the fact it's a new CD. I even tried different burn software such as Acoustica burning and it didnt work either. What is going on!? |

Heh. This is beginning to have little to do with Media Player, so you might want to try support / communities for CD burning as opposed to communities for WMP. =) I don't vouch for Acousitica (never heard of it), but if nothing is able to burn on your drive, you're having some of drive, firmware, or driver problem, most likely. -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
