After ripping a CD, WMP10 creates a folder under the artisit and specific
album. In some cases though not all tracks are included in the foleder and WMP stores the track under unkown artist. If I try and move the track to the correct folder after a few seconds the track is moved back to the folder under unknown artist. Please help. -- WyomingCowboy |

To avoid "Unknown Artist", the Album Artist field needs to be filled in. This field is not displayed by default in the Rip Pane. See http://msmvps.com/blogs/thinice/articles/15229.aspx for an explanation of its use. To stop it moving folders, the Library option to rearrange files needs to be turned off (although I find that the checkbox state doesn't accurately reflect what WMP actualy does with the files). |
