Default CCITt u-Law Audio Format

My phone company just changed the voice mail attachments from a PCM audio
format to CCITT u-Law. I used to be able to listen to the messages on my
pocket PC, now I am unable to.
Is there a codec I can download for the Windows Mobile Media Player to
enable me to listen to the WAV files in this new format?
I am using a Windows Mobile 2005 device
thanks
m

Pocket WMP doesn't support additional codecs, you're stuck with what
it was compiled with. Your only option is to find an alternative media
player that supports the codec in question, and associate it with .wav
files. I believe that TCPMP supports ulaw, check their website, or
just try it since it's free.
