If I try to play a File from the Internet - e.g WMA, WMV etc etc - I get the
following message. Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be available. I am using Windows Media Player 10 - Windows XP including all Fixes and SP2 - and the connection to the internet is broadband and always on. Internet Access is perfect at times when this Message appears. Any ideas please. ALAN W |

Can you connect to the Media Guide in WMP? -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. My apologies - it turns out that Zone Alarm had resticted the access by
Default. Found a suggestion about this from the excellent Web Site you suggested. A Happy User now !!
