Default wmplayer.exe - Application Error

I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I am getting an error, then mplayer
crashes, everytime I'm trying to go from full mode to skin mode.

The error is:
The instruction at "0x7777780e" referenced memory at "0x00000004". The
memory could not be "read".

It gives me the choice to click "ok" to terminate, and "Cancel" to debug the
program.

I am lost on what to do about this. I have uninstalled and then re-installed
the player a couple times, but no effect.

Any help or soulutions will be greatly appreciated.
Mark
