Default WMP 10 causes reboot

WMP 10 comes up fine but just as soon as I hit ANY button it freezes, says it
isn't responding & then reboots my computer. I have reinstalled it with no
change. I did not uninstall it first as I'm not sure how and I didn't know
if I would lose all of my songs. I've had to resort to using another media
player until I can get this fixed. Can anyone help?

Default RE: WMP 10 causes reboot

I wanted to add that wmp 9 was running fine. The problems came when I
upgraded. I tried to go back to the 9 but I have windowsXP & it wouldn't down
load. It said XP users must use 10.0

There's nothing in WMP to even start a reboot. Do you get any error
messaging?

What video card drivers are you using? Are you up to date there?
