Default Ripping music error

While using WMP 10 today, Dec. 14, 2005 received an error message that it was
unable to rip music from audio cd because it did not recognize the format.
When you click on the send to Microsoft, a return message says that they know
about the problem and will let you know when it will be fixed.

I decided to download WMP 10 from the website, rather than use the copy
saved on my computer, and reinstalled the program. Once done the error
message does not appear when ripping music from audio cd.

I thought someone should know that this worked, at least in my case.
