Default Re: Audio Device mising

Smae Here!!!! What is the resolution for this problem, if the audio codecs,
apparently advanced novice End user- I am) are not taking hold within the
CPU? What is the best way to narrow the causes from software, to hardware?
Is there any chance that a registry bug has hijacked the svchost, and blocked
sound file transfer usage? Or Could these problems be more towards the
problem of a pci bridge not properly functioning? got me!!! I'm running XP
home, on an x87 type board, an intel 845 g chipset and 82801db controller,
yeah cheap and becoming absolete quick, but please, I've learned so much
about all this and really want the satisfaction of fixing this CPu and
starting it up and hearing the beautiful tune of the windows startup
