Default Windows Media Player 10 error

Every time I attempt to play any type of WMP file in my web browser, IE 6.0,
I get this.

I have been struggling with this for a long time, and yet it has not been
fixed.
Any help?

This is the wrong version of wmploc.dll being loaded.
Reboot.

If that doesn't solve it, reinstlal the player and then reboot.

Well, if this is true, can you supply me with the correct version. I have
reinstalled and rebooted a few times, and it hasn't been fixed.

No, because I don't know what version of the player you have.

What versions of wmploc.dll are on your system where? What version of
wmp.dll is on your system?

If all you have is that one version of wmploc.dll in the entirety of your
system and you've already done a full reboot as suggested, then wmploc.dll
isn't able to load properly for WMP and thta's kind of out of the bounds of
anything I could hope to solve over the newsgroups and you'd want to contact
support.
