I recently picked up an iRiver T10 mp3 player which uses WMP 10 to manage
music. The device connects to the PC via a standard USB2.0 cable and utilizes drivers in WMP to install itself. However I can't seem to get mine to install. I've tried tech support with iRiver and they weren't helpful at all. Any idea what could stop this device from being recognized as a portable music player? Thanks in advance for any help. =) |

WMP should hopefully just recognize it - do you have the latest firmware for the device? -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info. Hi Zach D:
I didn't, however the only way to update the firmware is to install the device first. I actually took the device back and exchanged it for an iPod which was the best thing I could have done. Thanks all the same for the help, it's appreciated.
