I just got a new computer and transfered my mp3s to it, but WMP 10 does not
recognize the album information i previously entered. I spent hours updating the info on my old computer. How do i upload the album info to my new computer Both computers running WindowsXP and Windows media Player10 |

There's no real way of discovering that in WMP: you have to inspect each file. It definitely won't do it if your files are read-only, but other times, well it just fails...or the 3rd possibility is that WMP downloaded information from the net and overwrote what you typed in. I trust you have a backup. |

Almost all the mucis iare mp3's i created from my CD's a few years ago. The
are not copy protected and none of the information is downloaded from the net. Is there a setting that needs to be on before WMP actually changes the info on the Song? Theoretically you have to have the LIbrary update options on (See the options dialog) but I and others have experienced these changes with those options off. |
