Hi all,
J just discovered a really annoying problem with the MPlayer 10 library. A lot of my mp3 album folders have been renamed like Aerosmith - Pump @256' so i know what bitrate the numbers of the album are without having to open the folder first. Now i just bought an iRiver mp3 player which syncronizes only with MPlayer 10 so i started using MPlayer as my default player. And now it seems that when i use the 'Album view' only albums without the '@' in the folder name are beeing displayed. But on the other hand, when i use the 'Artist view' i notice that numbers from the '...@..' albums are included in the library; they're just not showing up in the albums view. Does anyone know a way around this, cause it has cost me a lot of time renaming these albums and i don't really feel like renaming em bak again. Thx in advance, Björn The Netherlands. |

There's no good automatic way to undo that. You don't want WMP to try to computer-logically figure out what you REALLY wanted to do, do you? =) You can use WMP's "Rename and Rearrange" feature in the Tools:Options:Library, but you'd probably be better off using a program dedicated to 'renaming and rearranging'... -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
