Default CD playback problems on WMP burned audio CD's

I'm burning audio CD's using Windows Media Playre 10.00.00.3646. The
burning process performs fine. However, I cannot play the CD in few CD
players I have around my house and was wondering why not. For example, I can
play the CD in my 2004 Acura TSX, but cannot play the CD in my 2001 Jeep
Wrangler. Both cars have factory installed CD players. I also cannot play
the CD in one of my Sony CD/DVD combo players I have connected to my stereo
system, but can play the CD on one of the inexpensive CD/DVD players I bought
at a discount store. Given the pattern of my problem, I suspect I'm burning
using some type of format that may not be playable on certain devices. I
looked at what options I can use while burning and did not see anything which
provides me a choice to burn using, perhaps, older technologies. I simply
did not know if there where different CD player formats other than .WAV or
..MP3 or .WMF. Any advice?

You're not finalizing your burn-

covers how to get around this. =\
