I have created a CD from my library that has extensive song information but
after creating the CD, the information is not carried over it just shows track 1, track 2, etc. Why is this? Is there a setting that needs to be changed? |

Secondly, do the tracks actually have names in the library, or are you just putting the information in the file name. |

Yes it is an audio CD and in my library it has the name of the song, track
title and artist. In fact, I use the "Find Audible Info" option in WMP. So the name of the song is there along with all the other pertinent infomration where this should not happen. I used to have Roxio on my laptop before I purchased a new one and it did not do this. It happens when I use WMP and Sonic. Yes that is what I mentioned I just called it something different. "In fact,
I use the "Find Audible Info" option in WMP", yes I have used the Find Album Info. There is an option to find Album information in the background, and a wizard to do it manually. To which are you referring? If the latter, what happens when you run it? |

I have right clicked on the songs/albums and chose Find Album Info, the
albums come up and I chose the appropriate one and it adds all the information for the song. As I said before, everything is correct on that end, just not sure why after I create the CD that the information does not show up any longer. Once I create the CD and I put it in my CD player to play, it just shows track 1, track 2, etc. and not the names of the songs the way it showed before I created the CD under the burn list. That data is not put back on the CD when the CD is burnt. You're referring to CDText support- http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#cdtext -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
