can anyone tell me if it is possible to import a mp3 from limewire to wmp as
a wma. if so, can you explain to me how or what other software (hopefully free) i need to do it? thank you!! |

You don't need to "import". Limewire downloads files to your PC. WMP indexes the files but doesn't change the file (unless specified, or something goes wrong). WMP just needs to know where the file is, or to be monitoring the folder where it is stored. For that, see the Options dialog's Library tab. Also, WMP plays MP3 files just as well as WMA files, so you don't need to convert the file. You can use utilities like dbPowerAmp to convert or "transcode" audio files, but the results can be rather unsatisfactory unless you're starting with uncompressed source material. |
