Default JPEG Display messy

Hey,

i try to playback JPEG files. But the display is messy. Some are being
displayed OK. Other are stretched. It seems there is a problem with
displaying large landscape JPEG files.

Yup. Discovered this too, but not restricted to large or landscape.

Will there be a fix by MS?

I think it's *extremely* unlikely that v10 will get patched for this.
There's plenty of serious issues with v9 and v10 that have not been
remedied. Almost every issue to do with the v10 library that has been
noted on this newsgroup either existed in v9, was known in the v10 beta
or found in the first couple of weeks after v10 was released several
years back. Of course the next version may require Windows Vista as a
platform, just as v10 requires Windows XP.

There's probably a few in someone's inbox or product studio database
that I sent in last year. From my blog article
http://msmvps.com/blogs/thinice/articles/16084.aspx that would be before
Oct 26, 2004. (Item #26) I've rebuilt my library since then, sans pictures.

If you get me a file that shows this, I promise to test it with WMP11 and
file a bug if it still fails. =)
