okay, i have an unknown message as well. WMP seems to be working fine except
just recently when i try to rip a cd it gives me the message "Windows media player encountered an unknown error." it does not give me any codes, just this message. I've tried to read through similar problems but none seem to be the same as mine and i don't want to mess it up even more. A: What file format are you trying to rip to according to WMP's Tools:Options:Rip Music? B: Can you create new playlists in your library? -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
