How can i keep my Media Player from buffering too much? I usually watch news
on svt.se and i can't watch it without it buffering every 15 seconds or so, it sucks. Thank you! |

What speed of broadband connection do you have (hint : Common speeds are 250k, 500k, 1meg, 4 meg etc) The default media stream is at 800kbps, if your broadband *can* exceed that (say, you know for sure you have a 1mbps cable connection) then you need to change settings : open Media Player Choose Tools -> Options menu, then Performance tab. In the dropdown, ignore "detect my connection speed" and set "My Connection speed is" T1 (1.5Mbps) Cheers - Neil |
