WinXP Home SP2
WMP 10 plays all formats except windows media (wmv and wma). It crashes on WM files with the "send error report" window. This just started. I rolled back to WMP 9 and it still happens. Reinstalled WMP 10 and still happens. The fault bucket number is 173080092. |

Do you have mmswitch.ax installed on this system? Looks like you do. That file is noxious and should be removed. Don't EVER install codec packs, okay? They're created by absolute fools. =\ Well, that's another crash bucket solved. =) -Zach -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
