I put in a new cd and the player says unknown. I tell it to get cd info. It
gets the correct info(Brad Paisley, Time well wasted). I click finish, then it goes right back to saying unknown. I did this from now playing and tried going to rip tab and doing it. Same result, gets correct info but doesn't update it. I don't want to rip to my collection then have to go through and correct all the info in library. |

What version of the player are you using? http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#medialibrary may help - resetting the library may help track data get written again. If not, you probably either have a full IE cache or a permisions problem on the player data directories. Can a second user account on the system update the Now Playing info? -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
