I got an MP3 player (returned the other one I got - different brand - when I
was having the same problem - I thought it was broken). I used the disk that came with the player and it installed WM player 10. When I connect the USB to my computer that's running XP I get an message that says USB device not recognized - One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it. I've tried to go to Sandisk's web site and download the driver (under my device manager it says that no driver has been installed) - the download goes part way and says that no driver is needed since I am running XP. This is the same problem I had with the Creative MP3 player that I returned. Anyone have any suggestions????? |

i had this problem with my ipod, and still sometimes do have it. it could be
that one of your usb points doesnt work properly... ive also just recently completely wiped my computer and am now starting from scratch as there was too much crap on it that was causing things not to work... if your still getting the same message, so print screen copies of the mesages coming up and bring them in with you if you return this one... i did this and it means that they cant question what is going wrong as there is there is the proof... my friend had problems with his ipod and when it was sent to apple to fix it apply tested it and said nothing was wrong...
