Theres pleanty of info out here concernning music, and video, but, What
happened to pictures? I'd like to load pictures on my WMP compatable device,
but alas WMP 10 has no support for pictures??? WMP 9.0 had it but silly me
clicked the update and no I'm not allowed to download 9.0 since I have the
updated version. I must be missing something but everything seemes to be

I have no idea what you're on about (I am sure that's my fault and not your
fault - I've simply never loaded pictures with a media player before) but
you can roll-back to WMP9 if you really need to?

Start
Settings
Control Panel
Classic View
Add/remove programs
Show Updates
WMP10 should be listed, when removed you revert to WMP9

Tools > Options > Player > [ ] Enable picture support for devices

The WMP Help file is pretty terrible but this is found easily from
keyword "pictures".

Good call and catch - I had absolutely no clue. I've used WMP since, wow...
Well, since it was nothing more than a slider and a couple of pause/play
type buttons. So, if you're going to give that to us than I shall give this
to you. <g>

Start
Run
Copy/Paste this:

mk:@MSITStore:C:\WINDOWS\Help\wmp10.chm::/htm/gettingstarted.htm

Paste that into the run line (it shouldn't wrap) and hit enter. Do that ONLY
if you've absolutely NOTHING to do...

In fact, if you wanna get really fancy...

Run: "C:\WINDOWS\Help\wmp10.chm" instead... Or, now that we know the
locations... Just crack open the folder and it's amazing what's in there.

Of course, if you knew that already, well... I've given you nothing in
return. But, if not, then I have.
