Window Media 10

I lost my Windows media player. I tried to download the new version 10
and I get a 28004 code. Saying this is not compatible with this version of
Windows.
All updates are installed.

i am also getting same error!!

"Windows media technologies

this version of windows media technology is incompatible with this version
of windows. For information view the information at the Microsoft website."

this is error msg shown above..i also have installed all updateds on SP2!!!
may be this due to some bugs in hotfixes!!!

You've deleted wmploc.dll from c:\windows\system32. You need to restore
this file before you can continue. There's likely a copy in
c:\windows\system32\dllcache .
