I've searched and searched on this and can't seem to find the answer. The problem
pertains to WMP V7 or V10 (just upgraded). I have 2 CDs for the same boxset. I load CD #1 into the WMP library. It contains 28 tracks (#1 - #28). When I put in the second CD (whether I CLOSE WMP and restart or not), which has 29 (1 more) tracks, it shows tracks #1-#28 from the FIRST CD and now track #1 of the SECOND CD shows as #29. IOW, the list shows 29 tracks for the 2nd CD (which there are) but is showing remnants of the first CD. If I click on track #3, I DO get track #3 of the currently-inserted CD but obviously the name is wrong. Surely, this is a bug. I've seen people allude to autoinsert or autoplay but that doesn't seem to have anything to do with it. It simply seems that the WMP software doesn't start track #1 with the track of the NEWEST CD for the box set. Can anyone help on this issue? JL |

IIRC, it's the particular music service you're using. If you switch music services, does that give you beter information? Correct, AutoPlay/AutoInsert could not possibly be related to this. -Zach -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
