Default Windows Media Player 10 playing CD

When I try to play an adio CD with Mdia Player 10 after inserting CD into my
drive I get the following message: The selected file has a scheme that is not
recongnized by Windows Media Player, but the player may still be able to play
it. Because the extension is unknown by the player, you should be sure that
the file comes from a trustworthy source. Do you want the player to try to
play the file? Yes or No what ever one I click I get no results I have to
open the drive and remove the CD before I can get from out of the (!)
message. I can play music online, I can play CD/RW CD I just can not play any
of my CD like Santana ect.. They all use to work just fine. PLEASE HELP,
thank you. I even tried reinstalling Media Player 10 with no results. I am on
operating system windows XP Home Edition

This sounds like your CD driver is broken... ? Is there updated firmware
for your CD drive... ?
