I am not sure if this is a Windows Media Player problem or an IE problem.
For some reason websites that automatically stream video are not playing in the Windows Media Player when I visit the website using Internet Explorer. (I am running SP2) But the sites and the player work fine when I visit them in my Mozilla browser. Any ideas where the problem may be? I am running Media Player 10. A sample of the type of page that I am having a problem with is musicplustv.com In IE when I go to the page, instead of the video stream loading and playing, I just get a black screen on the player with a "ready" notation. When I click on Play, I get an "opening media" message, but it returns to "ready" after just a few seconds. I can't figure out why I have this problem in one browser, but not another. Any help, ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time. Jeff |

If you right-click on the failed player, do you get Error Details? -- (speaking for myself and doing this in my free time) See http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html for some helpful WMP info.
