Default Re: WMP10 Will Not Fit when burning a cd

I have had the problem that Windows Media Player 10 said that my audio tracks
would not fit when they were just under the 80 mins limit (and had been
ripped from an audio CD. The reason (at least in part) is that WMP10 adds 2
seconds between each track when recording. The answer is to edit the tracks
to shave off a few seconds' silence at each end of each one. You can do this
with Windows Media File Editor Tool (free download) or Windows Movie Maker
(should already be on your computer). I used Windows Movie Maker. It took a
bit of learning how to use it, and then the editing was took a bit of time,
but it worked and I was able to burn successfully. For more info, go to
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...vice/0070.mspx and look at "How can I reduce the length of an audio track...".
