um can someone help i am so desperate i cried yesterday
![]() i reinstalled my windows xp professional (english) a few days ago and backed every up from my last windows in an external hard disc yesterday i reload everything back into my laptop now... and installed service pack 2 as well. but then my windows media player 10 won't display correct chinese characters in the now playing... and then i checked the files properties and advance tag editor they are in funny display (unicode?) as well.. why?! but some of them can display (1 out of 100 can be displayed correctly) can someone please help me?????? thanks. ( my laptop can see chinese perfectly in websites and type chinese perfectly.. thanks) |

Re-enable East Asian character support for Windows XP from Control Panel -> Regional and Language settings dialog. When Windows XP is thus enabled, programs like WMP can take advantage of it. This could have been discovered by looking up "Chinese" in Windows Help. |

i m not sure...

Can you read other documents OK? If you use an IME, is that working OK? |
