WMP starts to open, but quits before it opens all the way. I am using OSX
10.4 and it used to work fine. I re-installed a new version, same thing happens. |

Apparently on a Mac, the first thing to do is to delete the .prefs file for WMP (I've heard it fixes nearly everything, including world peace ;-) HTH Cheers - Neil |

According to the WMP7.1 FAQ for Mac OSX, you can do it like this : "Double-click the System folder, double-click the Preferences folder, and then drag the Windows Media Player Prefs file to the Trash." Probably you don't want Media Player running at all when you do that, so make sure to Quit the program from the dock. Maybe just maybe I'd empty the trash can and restart the system after you've done that to mitigate any side effects.
