Default Reinstalling

I seems to be having a problem with my windows media player 10. I installed
it and it ran fine with no problems. I used it for a couple of days on the
web to listen to music and watch videos, all was fine. Then all of a sudden
when I wanted to watch a video it wouldn't pull up. I tried to listen to
radio on the web and same problem it wouldn't pull up. So, I reinstalled
media player 10 and tried watching a video online and it worked again, radio
too. I don't understand what's been happening with my media player 10. For
about the last month I've been having to reinstall the player about every 4
days. It's like it keeps getting corrupt and won't let me listen to music or
watch videos unless I reinstall it. Any ideals why this is happening and how
to fix this problem would be much appreciated. I'm running windows xp pro
with sp1 and have a Pentium 4 2.40ghz with 768 mb of ram. Also a 120gb hard
drive. Thanks

Anna

Is it only video/radio on the web that causes problems, or local files
too? Can you supply some sample links?

Reinstallation rarely helps, and does not help point to the underlying
issue.

For the music http://www.957kjrfm.com/main.html and http://www.mix925.com/
and http://www.939bobfm.com/home/index.asp and for the videos
http://www.grindtv.com and http://www.stupidvideos.com. These are just a
few. It's not just these websites. It always seems that reinstalling the
media player works. Thanks
